STUDIO
Gads Studio was founded in 2025 by Gülçin Alpaydın. Based in Istanbul, the studio focuses primarily on lighting design, while also continuing to work on interior architecture and furniture projects. All lighting pieces are designed by the studio and produced in Istanbul, where the entire process—from concept to production—is carried out with high-quality craftsmanship and meticulous handwork.
Our mission is to create timeless objects through a holistic design approach, combining refined forms, premium materials, and careful attention to detail. Each piece is designed to live naturally within a space, becoming part of everyday life rather than a passing trend.
OUR STORY
Light shapes the way we experience a space. It creates atmosphere, defines mood, and turns a house into a home. Beyond function, lighting has the power to bring warmth, depth, and emotion into everyday life.
We are open to experimentation—drawing inspiration from art, nature, human emotion, and the harmony of proportions. Each piece carries a story behind it, shaped by the dialogue between materials and crafted with intention. More than lighting, our objects are designed as completing elements within a space—adding atmosphere, balance, and character to the homes they enter.
We’re building a growing collection of objects we truly believe in. We believe there are enough of us on this planet for our objects to find their audience.
We are also open to experimentation—drawing inspiration from the dialogue between different materials, aiming to create a design language that is exploratory, expressive, and deeply connected to both people and the space.
